This is a guide on how to set up third party delivery services, such as, Uber Eats, Deliveroo, EASI, Menulog, DoorDash and alike using the basic setup method. There is no direct integration between Shopfront and these services at this point in time.

The basic method shows you how to create a new payment method to separate regular sales from delivery service sales. This method assumes you will be either processing the sale at the regular everyday price or manually overriding the price before processing the sale.

Creating a New Payment Method

Open the Menu
Select Setup
Select Payment Methods
Select + New to create your new payment method
Name the payment method eg, Uber Eats and choose the type of the payment method to Direct Deposit

Enabling the Payment Method in the Register

Once the payment has been created, you will need to enable the payment method on each register you plan on processing the third party delivery service sales on.

Open the Menu
Select Registers and Outlets
Select the Register you wish to add the Payment Method to and click Edit
Tick the Payment Method's checkbox to enable
Select Save

Setting up a Sale Key for the Payment Method

Follow the steps below to load a sales key for the new payment method (This step is optional and can be skipped if you want to process your third party delivery orders by selecting finalise sale).

Select the Menu
Select Setup
Select Sale Keys
Locate and select Edit beside your preferred Sale Keys Page (i.e. Home Keys)
Resize your existing sale keys to make room for your new sale key
Select+ Add Sale Key
Select Pay the Exact Amount from the Action dropdown list
Choose the payment method, eg, Uber
Type a name into Normal Text or alternatively, find the logo online and add it as a Normal Image to populate the sales key (see below screenshot)
Finalise by clicking Save
