There are certain circumstances where the expected EFTPOS totals in Shopfront may not match the EFTPOS settlement. The steps below will show what to check for if this occurs.
To check if the approved EFTPOS sales match the expected received amounts in Shopfront, this can be done by checking the LINKLY EMS journal on all registers. This can be completed by the steps below:
- Double click on the teal coloured EMS Client icon, located in your Windows system tray (bottom right corner of your screen). If it does not appear then you may need to click the ^ to show more icons.
- Select Journal
- Select the to and from date in the Between And range section.
- Select All Successful Financial Txns, and check to see if the bottom (total) line matches what was expected in Shopfront
If this does match the expected in Shopfront, then you would need to contact your bank in regards to the full amount not being received into your bank account. If the EMS client journal does not match the expected received amount in Shopfront, you should confirm the following:
- Check that the date and time the register was opened and closed match the start and end date of the EFTPOS journal, if the register was opened or closed at a different time, check the balance by viewing a sales report by payment method and grouped by register
