Importing a Capped Pricing File (MSP)

You can import a capped pricing file into Shopfront to compare your prices against the allowed maximum shelf price for products.

Opening the Capped Pricing Screen

  1. Open the Menu
  2. Select Stock Management
  3. Select More
  4. Select Capped Pricing

If you're part of a banner group you might already have capped pricing loaded. Otherwise, you'll need to load the capped pricing file yourself.

Uploading the Capped Pricing

  1. Open the Capped Pricing screen
  2. Press the Functions button (top right)
  3. Press the Import CSV button
  4. Choose the file to upload (check the format below)
  5. Press Import

You can now edit your prices to align them with the capped pricing.

Capped Pricing File Format

You must upload a CSV file with the following fields:

  • name,
  • supplier code,
  • quantity,
  • price,
  • start date,
  • end date

A header line is optional, however all columns must be in the order specified.

We will attempt to parse the dates no matter the format they are specified, however, we cannot parse all date formats so we would recommend formatting the dates using the YYYY-MM-DD format.
