Setting up Banner Group Promotions
Note: If you've purchased the Launching Service this is setup for you when you first move on to Shopfront.
To receive your banner group's promotions, you'll first need to setup and link the applicable promotional categories. Information on editing your promotion categories can be found by viewing the Promotion Categories article.
Under the Promotion Source field you'll need to select the type of promotions you wish to receive, if you want to receive more than one type you'll need to specify multiple categories.
To find the Promotional Categories relevant to your outlet, please refer to the table below.

Once you've connected the categories you require, you'll need to contact our support team and let them know which banner group you are part of as they'll need to link your outlet to that banner group on their side.
After the support team has connected your outlet to the banner group, you'll start to automatically receive banner group promotions as soon as we receive them.
Stop Receiving Banner Promotions
You may wish to stop receiving promotions for a variety of reasons, for example, if you are changing banner groups, or no longer wish to run an opt-in promotion. Each of the below options will need to be selected depending on the reason you're removing the banner group promotions.
- Disconnect a Promotion Source
- Delete the Promotional Category
- Have Shopfront Remove Your Outlet From Being Associated With a Particular Banner Group
- Removing an outlet from a Promotion Category
Note: Each of these options will prevent the receiving of future promotions, any existing promotions will need to be deleted, if required.
If you wish to apply any of these changes, the relevant steps can be found by visiting the Promotion Categories help guide.
Disconnect a Promotion Source
Disconnecting a Connected Promotion Source is useful when outlets want to disable specific types of promotions while still receiving other promotions from their existing banner group. For instance, a Cellarbrations outlet might want to stop receiving the Cellar Select promotion but continue receiving Banner Group Promotions. To do this, they can disconnect the Connected Promotion Source for the Cellar Select Promotion Category.
Delete the Promotional Category
If you no longer wish to receive promotions from a Promotional Category and won't need them in the future, you may want to delete the category entirely.
Deleting a category is similar to disconnecting the promotional source, but instead of editing, you will need to press the delete button.
Have Shopfront Remove Your Outlet From Being Associated With a Particular Banner Group
If you're no longer part of your banner group (or are changing to another one), get in touch with our support team and provide the name of the banner group you wish to remove and specify if you would like it to be replaced with a new one.
Removing an outlet from a Promotion Category
If your Shopfront domain includes multiple outlets and you want only specific outlets to receive promotions from a particular Promotion Category, you can select which outlets should be included in that category.
