Setting up Banner Group Promotions
Note: If you've purchased the Launching Service this is setup for you when you first move on to Shopfront.
To receive your banner group's promotions, you'll first need to setup and link the applicable promotional categories. Information on editing your promotion categories can be found in our dedicated help article.
Under the Promotion Source field you'll want to select the type of promotions you wish to receive, if you want to receive more than one type you'll need to specify multiple categories.
The following categories are currently available, not all categories are supported by all banner groups:
|Banner Group Promotion
|The standard list of promotions supplied by the banner group
|The opt-in Cellar Select (Cellarbrations) and Top Shelf (The Bottle-O) range, if you're unsure what this is, please contact your BDM
|Promotions specifically for stores branded as "Super Store", if you're unsure what this is, please contact your BDM
|This program has been stopped by IBA and the category only exists for historical reasons
Once you've connected the categories you require, you'll need to contact our support team and let them know which banner group you are part of as they'll need to link your store to that group on their side.
After the support team has connected your store to the banner group, you'll start to automatically receive banner group promotions as soon as we receive them.
Stop Receiving Banner Group Promotions
If you'd like to stop receiving your automatic promotions from your banner group you have three options:
- Disconnect the Promotion Category
- Delete the Promotion Category
- Have your store removed from the Banner Group by Shopfront
Each of these options have benefits and drawbacks and will depend on the reason you're removing the banner group promotions.
Each of these options will just prevent the receiving of future promotions, any existing promotions will need to be deleted if required.
Disconnect the Promotion Category
Disconnection is typically used by stores wanting to temporarily prevent the automatic receiving of promotions or if you are instead electing to manually enter your promotions instead of having them automatically entered.
Disconnecting is a similar process to connecting the promotion category, you'll just need to clear the Source field when editing the category. If you're unsure how to edit the promotion category, check out our dedicated help article.
Delete the Promotion Category
If you're not wanting the promotions at all and won't in the future, you may want to completely delete the promotion category.
Deleting is a similar process to connecting the promotion category, however instead of editing you'll need to press the delete button. If you're unsure, check out our dedicated help article.
Remove Your Store From the Banner Group by Shopfront
If you're no longer part of your banner group (or are changing to another one) you might want Shopfront to remove your store from your banner group. To do this, you'll need to get in touch with our support team and let them know which group to remove you from or to change you to.
