If your store has more than one register, you can choose which register your computer is operating on. To change registers:
- Select the Register icon
in the top right corner of your register
- Select the register you would like to make active
Please be aware that Shopfront registers now operate as single register session, i.e. only one device can be logged on to a register at a time. You will be presented with a dialog box requesting confirmation when attempting to change to a register that is already in use (see screenshot below). This has been implemented to avoid frequent complications, e.g. sales accidentally being processed on the wrong register which leads to discrepancies between EFTPOS settlement/cash counted and register closure.
