Already processed a sale but realised a mistake and just want to start over without returning the items? If your user permissions allow it, you can cancel a sale through the Sales History.
The option to cancel a sale is located in your sales history.
Note: We would highly recommend that instead of cancelling a sale you return or refund the sale as cancelling a sale removes the ability for you to track the history of events that occurred relating to that sale.
- Open the Menu
- Select Register
- Select Sales History
- Select a sale from your sales history
- Inside sales details click Cancel Sale
Note: Cancelling a sale completely reverses all events relating to the sale, including the reversal of inventory, loyalty points, account balance and payment methods.
