Products are the objects sold during a sale to your customers. In Shopfront we have several different types of products that you can create, for this tutorial we will be showing you how to create a General Product however we also have guides available for creating the following product types:
We highly suggest you become familiar with creating a General Product before creating another type of product.

- Select Stock Management
- Select Products
- Click + Add Product
You will now be presented with the Creation Wizard which will take you through the product creation process step by step. You can also choose to skip the wizard to create the product from the Modification Page.
Product Creation Wizard
The Product Creation Wizard allows you to easily create Normal Products, to create any other type of product please select Skip. Within the Wizard, you can use the 'Enter' key, or the NEXT / PREVIOUS buttons on the screen to navigate between pages.
- The first step in the Wizard is adding the barcode for your product, scan or type it into the text field.
- If you have access to our Master Database you will be presented with an option to choose a product from our Master Database.
- Creating a product using our Master Database allows for quick and easy product creation. If the product is found it will be created for you with all the details out of our database including:
- Case Quantity

- If the product isn't found you'll have to add these details manually with the wizard or on the modification page
