When a Fleet Street, Bottler, or Super Cellars customer creates an account on the respective Android or iOS app, they are expected to find the voucher to redeem on their app and scan the store's unique QR code to claim the redemption. The customer then shows the staff member the redemption confirmation, who will then need to apply the discount following the steps in the article below.

Since ILG will reimburse the discounted amount, it's advisable to avoid applying a manual discount, as this would reduce your gross profit margin. The steps in this article will guide you through creating a sale key, by which you can enter the amount and apply the discount to the sale without causing your profit margin to have a decreased value.

Creating a Discount Product

Within your Shopfront application perform the steps below,

Select the Menu
Select Stock Management
Select Products
Select + Add Product
Select SKIP on Create Product Page Wizard
Set the product Name as ILG App Discounts
Set the Case Quantity to be 1
Enable Cost is a percentage of sell price
Set the Cost Percentage to 100
Disable Track Inventory
Select Save

Adding The Discount Product to a Sales Key

Select the Menu
Select Setup
Select Sale Keys
Select Edit on the Home Keys folder
Resize an existing sale key to make room for your new key
Select + Add Sale Key
Select the New Key and size it to fit the available space.
On the right panel, select No Action to view the list of actions and select Add a Product
You'll now see a Product Select... list directly below. Start typing to search for and select the ILG App Discounts product.
Type -1 into the Quantity field
Delete the New Key text in the Normal Text field and type ILG App Discounts
Select Save

Applying the Discount Product to a Sale

Now that you've created your ILG App Discounts sale key, to apply a redemption at the point of sale, add the product to the sale with the required quantity, select the ILG App Discounts sale key and enter the confirmed amount to be redeemed.
