Shopfront Notification Sounds

Shopfront is equipped with specific sounds that trigger when certain actions occur. Two distinct sounds are programmed: one for new notifications and another for errors.

General Notifications

General notification sound alerts will activate when a new Notification is received. This includes scenarios such as receiving a new electronic invoice or alerting to new banner group promotions that have been downloaded.

Error Notifications

Error sound alerts will activate when something has gone wrong. This could occur, for example, when a product is not found on the sell screen or during a stocktake.

Adjusting Sound Volume

The volume of sound notifications can be adjusted on each device by selecting the volume icon located in the top right corner of the Shopfront interface. To disable sounds on your device, select the Mute icon.
