How to Enable Training Sales Mode

Training sales mode allows you to practice selling stock without reducing inventory levels, taking payments and opening the cash drawer. This comes in handy when training new staff on how to use Shopfront.

Allow Training Sales Mode to be enabled for a register

1. Navigate to Menu > Setup > General and search for the setting by typing into the text box

2. Select the register from the drop down menu

3. Toggle Allow training mode to be toggled on (see below)

Enable Training Sales Mode for a register

1. Select the current user's name in the top right corner

2. Toggle Training Mode on

Note: Once turned on you will see the text Training Mode over the sell screen as on the below screenshot. You will be reminded with further dialogue boxes that you are still in Training Mode. To turn off training mode follow the same process you used to turn it on.
