Shopfront supports showing a current sale to the customer through the use of a customer facing display. This is typically setup as a screen mounted on the opposite side of your display. Additionally to the active sale's details the screen can be set up to display visual material such as logos, promotional images, or videos.
Note; Shopfront support does not provide files for the customer display. Promotional material will be supplied by your banner group or can be individually created. Please note the below format restrictions when creating or loading files.
Add a Single Image or Video
A single, static image can be added to the customer facing screen. This can be e.g. store or bannergroup logo or promotional material or the specials of the week.
- Navigate to Menu > Setup > Customer Display
- Select Edit next to your existing customer display
- Choose Idle or Sale (Idle will be the screen showing when no products have been added to the sales screen)
- If an image already exists, click on the existing image, or select the green '+' button at the top right to add the Image component
- Select the Settings tab
- Click Select Image/Click to Edit
- From the Media Centre either select a previously uploaded image or select Upload to load an image from your file browser
- Click Select at the bottom right to add the selected image
- Move/modify the size of the Image component box as required
- Select Save to finalise and apply the changes
Add multiple Images or Videos as a Slide Show
A variety of files can be added to a single component as a slide show. This slide show will run through all images or videos at a set pace. This can be handy in showing a variety of promotional material or seasonal specials.
- Navigate to Menu > Setup > Customer Display
- Select Edit
- If a slideshow already exists, click on the existing image, or select the green '+' button at the top right to add the Slide Show component
- Select the Settings tab
- Click Add Slide
- From the Media Centre either select a previously uploaded file or select Upload to load files from your file browser
- Click Select at the bottom right to add the selected file
- Enter the duration a file should be shown within the slide show before moving to the next in seconds into the Seconds text box
- Move/modify the size of the Slide Show component box as required
- Select Save to finalise and apply the changes

Add Slide | Opens the Media Centre. Select Slide Show component and the Settings tab to access. Choose correctly formatted material to add to the slide show component. |
Seconds | The time a slide is shown before moving to the next slide. Select the Slide Show component and the Settings tab to access. The Seconds text field appears for every slide added. Enter a time to show each slide in seconds, 3.5 will be entered by default and can be modified. |
Format Restrictions
The following formats are accepted in the media centre.

Note; The maximum file size for images is 8 MB, additionally if an animated .gif is larger than 2000px wide or high, the animation will be lost when importing it into the Media Centre.
